Upgrading to virtual center 2.5 update 3

I am currently running virtual center 2.5.0 update 1.(build 84767) The app and oracle server are currently on the same server. I am going to do a fresh install of virtual center 2.5 update 3 on a new server. Anyone one have any advise or can point me to some good documentation. Thanks

yes. follow the best practices in the manual, and keep the app separate from the DB. Putting them on the same server is a bad idea. Other than that, it's a pretty seemless straightforward operation as long as you follow the instructions.

I will be doing this same update (VC from 2.5 update 1 to 2.5 update 3, and then ESX 3.5 update 1 to update 3) next week.

While the install guide is good, I have found the Upgrade Guide to be helpful - .
