Haven't yet had a need for web access but now we do and we've been running smoothly with an ESX 3.5 HA cluster on VC 2.5, using the regular VI client. ESX 3.5 is build 110181, VC 2.5 is 104215.
VI web access locks up every time on IE7 and Firefox 2.0.0.16. Connects fine after the message about "unsupported browser" (ridiculous), activex installs fine, I can see all our vm's and various properties, but when I try to open a console the whole shebang freezes solid. Must say Microsoft has VMware beat as far as ease of use with the web server in virtual server 05. Don't want to believe that. What are the supported browsers and where is the proper documentation for web access? Missing something here. I'm looking at moving our developers off the Microsoft product and onto testing on workstations that live on Vmware, please help.
