VM Network use information

Hi all,

I am managing an environment where almost 500+ VMs is running one three vcenter. my network admin claims that one of my vm using huge network resources suddenly. he just gave me the VM MAC address, how can I find out which vm has the issue?

You can easily find the IP address corresponding to the mac address using arp or ask your network team to provide the ip address, then search the ip address in the vcenter search box and you will get the vm name if you have installed the vmware tool on the vm.
