Hi,

I have a role that I have assigned all the privileges to.

I still get the message ; You do not hold privilege "virtual machine > provisioning > Read customization specifications" on Folder " Data Centers.

How can I add this privilege to this role?

Hi,

Have you tried assigning the permissions based on this KB? http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1008192 - it seems you have to apply this particular privilege from the Hosts and Clusters view, not just the datacenter.

You assigned the privilege in the Datacenter but you need to apply this particular privilege on VC object (root folder).
