vShpere default view

When opening up my vShpere client, I'm clicking on the "Virtual Machines" tab.  I see all of my 600~ servers.  Is it possible that I can customize the default view?  Example, I don't care about State, Status, Host and many other columns that appear.  So each time I right-click on one of those to remove it and select only the columns I need to examine to administor my servers, Name, IP, and others.  Any suggestions?  Editing some config files out there, or similar?

Thanks for any info.

Yep, you're right. Looks like in 4.1 this is not working.

Which version of vSphere are you using?

I just tested that with the client for vSphere 5 and the columns are actually persisted.
