vShield Endpoint 5.0 with ESXi 4.1 U2

I am trying to do a proof of concept install of Endpoint 5.0. I have a number of ESXi 4.1 hosts remaining. Everything I've read says that Endpoint 5.0 is compatible with ESXi 4.1 However, the install guide states the following:

For vShield Endpoint and vShield Data Security, you must upgrade your virtual machines to hardware
version 7 or 8 and install VMware Tools 8.6.0 being released with ESXi 5.0 Patch 1.

How can I install this version of VMware Tools without being on ESXi 5.0? Is there an "endpoint agent only" install for Endpoint 5.0?

1. Enpoint 5.0 supports with ESXi 4.1 U2

2.  Virtrual Hardware verison 7 is supported on ESXI 4 U2.

3. Only thing how do i install vmware tool 8 on VMs in esxi 4. u2.

Manually downoad vmware tools on verions ESXi 5.0 patch 1 from the below link

Refer the below KB for iinstalling vmware tools manually on the virtual machine.

Vmware tools 8 on virtual hardware version 7 is supported.
