Compatibility issues with vSphere vmware server 4.0

Hi,

I am able to connect to the vSpehere vmware server 4.0 with vmware client 4.1 but when i am trying to connect to the vSpehere vmware server 4.0

with vmware sdk 4.1  i am not able to connect.Is it beacuse of the compatibility issues?

Does the vmware sdk 4.1 support vSphere vmware server 4.0?

Any suggestion will be helpful.

The problem of using SDK 4.1 with vCenter 4.0 is the SOAP_ACTION header. If you use open source Java API 2.1 (supports SDK4.1), you can connect to vCenter 4.0 without any problem. The API takes care of that and you don't need to worry about it.
