Event type/description documentation

As a bit of a followup to the following thread (http://communities.vmware.com/message/920903#920903) is anyone aware of a document that lists the various event messages that VMware can generate? I'm familiar with how to query for the data via the SDK, but what I am really needing is something that lists what the various events are so that I can start looking at which events to really look for, query, etc. Essentially an "event message reference guide" or something to that effect.

Hi,

I am afraid but there's no precise documentation which lists all the available events. However, you can refer to the Event data object from which every event class is inherited : http://www.vmware.com/support/developer/vc-sdk/visdk41pubs/ApiReference/vim.event.Event.html

This will help you identify which all events are there.
