Recovery VMs without vCenter.

Hi all,

I have 2 sites with only one vcenter.

vCenter and with vsphere replication are on site 1 . I replicated many vms to site 2.

If the site 1 crash, is possible to recovery VMs replicated on site 2 without vCenter and VRM?

Sorry my english!!!

Tks,

Luiz Terezio

Hi Luiz,

It is not possible to recover vSphere Replication replicated VMs without vCenter. If you need that kind of capability (recover VMs w/o vCenter - inc vCenter) you may want to take a look at VDP (vSphere Data Protection). It is a backup tool that also provides replication and can recover VMs without vCenter.

Does this answer your question?

Cheers!

PS: I thought your english was great, no need to apologize.
