EMC Solutions Enabler 7.1.2 vApp install

We have a cluster of 12 ESX 4.1 hosts connected via 10 Gig to a new EMC CX4-240. I want to enable the EMC storage views tab within Vcenter and need to get the EMC Solutions Enabler 7.1.2 up and running. It's downloadable from powerlink as an ovf template but after I deploy and start the Vapp it pegs the CPU's and locks the damn guest VM. EMC support is useless....has anyone been able to get solutions enabler to run?

This is now fixed, EMC was able to replicate and had to rebuild the vapp for work on ESXi.

We are running into an identical issue in our environment.  The vApp has the CPU consistently pegged at 100%.

When you say they rebuilt the vApp, do you mean they released a new version specific for ESXi 4.1...or did you just uninstall the vApp and re-install it?

I'm also considering just moving up to version 7.2.
