Hi All,
I have to do P2V for a VM which is running with Huge size of disks. VM is having multiple disk C: Drive is 1 TB, D-Drive is with 4 TB. E drive is too with the similar disk size of more than 2 TB.
In VMware vSphere environment the datastore max capacity is for 2 TB only as per the organizations requirement. Now I am not aware of how to do this P2V migration ?
Please help.
That is tough having such a large C drive. If it is largely free space I wouldn't be as concerned ,but if it is full timeout issues could creep up. I would migrate just the C drive and then hopefully your D drive is just data you can just do a robocopy later on from physical to virtual.

Hey @themanintheiron,
With Converter you can resize the disk on the fly and select the disk type as Thin Provisioning for example. However this will work in the case where your source disks are using less than the space you mentioned above.
e.g D Drive uses 200 GB from the 4 TB.
