How does migration of vcenter 4.1 to 5.0 effects srm server

I am upgrading vsphere 4.1 to 5.5 and srm 4.1 to 5.5. I have to do migration of vcenter 4.1 to 5.1.

But i think this migration will effect srm server as during migration unique identifier in vcenter may get flushed.

Can someone tell me, how to overcome this issue?

You first must upgrade de vCenter Server, after the SRM and then the ESXi hosts, check this KB article for update sequence: VMware KB: Update sequence for vSphere 5.5 and its compatible VMware products
