Quick Port Group/upLink Assignment question

Ok...I think I have the dvSwitch setup figured out. 🙂

I just have two little questions...

I have Dell R910s with two 10G nics and four 1G nics.  We don't have enough 10G ports on our switches to utilize both 10G ports on the R910s, so what would be the best way to group the other ports for reliability? All storage is Fiber connected SAN, so no need for iSCSI.

I was thinking something along these lines:

nic0, 1, 2, 3 are 1G

nic4 & 4 are 10G

Port Group
ActiveStandby
VM Trafficnic4 (10G)nic1 (1G)
Mgmt Trafficnic0 (1G)nic1 (1G)
Fault Tolerencenic3 (1G)nic2 (1G)
VMotion Trafficnic2 (1G)nic3 (1G)

Is this logical and more importantly, correct and "best practice"?  I don't see a real need at this point to team the 1G nics together.

Also, I cannot seem to assign any of these port groups to the appropriate "System Network Resource Pool", is that done automagically by the vdSwitch?  When I go to the Resource Allocation setting for a port group, I only see the User Defined Resource Pools.

Thanks.
