Upgrade old 5.5 VSphere Essential to 6.5 with 6.0 licenses

In 2017 we buy VSphere Essential 6.0 licenses then we've downgraded them to 5.5 licenses. That system is still in use and now we'd like to upgrade it to 6.5 version. Can we use the old VSphere Essential 6.0 licenses for Vcenter Server and for the 3 hosts? There is a special procedure or we can simply upgrade Vcenter and then hosts to 6.5?

Thanks

Alberto

6.0, 6.5 and 6.7 all are part of the major vsphere release 6, so version 6 license will work to 6.0, 6.5 as well as 6.7.

With downgrading the licenses to version 5.x, the original v6.x licenses became invalid (from a legal point of view).
The correct way is to upgrade the v5.x licenses to v6.x again in the Customer Connect portal.

There is no option to upgrade 5.5 licenses to 6.0 in the Customer Connect portal
