after upgrade to 4.1 cannot store license usage in the vCenter Server database

after upgrade to vSphere 4.1

Licensing Accounting Module health monitor indicated

Cannot store license usage in the vCenter Server database

it's a very common issue. http://communities.vmware.com/thread/282766;jsessionid=B7B64CF22BF22640D50548825E6D0B69?tstart=35 hopefully one of the solutions work for you. mine was resolved on the second solution.

forgot to mention our database is oracle 11 g

i have changed the setting from Use Oracle NLS settings to UseUS settings

so far no luck yet

We would like to preserve our database though

yet thanks for the information

any other infomation that may help
