Want to setup test network cannot figure out how to connect vmwares

Ok, I want to set up a test network as i am trying to learn about windows server 2008 and got it set up, installed DNS and DHCP and promoted it to domain controller. On a second VMware i set up windows 7 x64 ultimate, now how can i get these computers to connect, using vmware? Currently i have them isntalled on vmware workstation, but how can i create a lan connection between them so i can add the client to the domain?

You will need to ensure that both the VMs have atleast one network adapater added. And that adapter is configured for either Bridged/NAT/Host-Only networking. You can then configure both the VMs to obtain their IPs using DHCP. This should be enough to get you started.

If you wish to have static addr. you can assign the same addresses (obtained from DHCP) manually on each interface.
