Hi,
We're trying to backup some of our VM machines, which contains independent persistent disks along with regular disk, with GRT enabled, but the job continues to fail. Althought the job fails it does backup the vmdk files, just doesn't create the GRT stuff for individual file restore.
We tried backing up the VM machines via having BE connect to vCenter and also tried configuring BE to connect directly to the ESX server. We're working with Symantec support but not getting anyware hence this post.
Has anyone got this working in their environment?
We were running Backup Exec 2010 and upgraded to BE 2010 R2 and still no luck
