Can't expend LUN Datastore

Hi,

We have a Synology NAS with a LUN configured and iSCSI targets for our ESXi. Originally the LUN was 4TB, we decided to extend it to 7TB ("Total capacity" in the LUN configuration on Synology).
On the ESX, in Storage > Devices, I see a "SYNOLOGY iSCSI Disk" with 7TB of capacity. Then in “Datastore”, the datastore still is 4TB. And when I want to expand it, I get the message "No device has disk space".

In "devices", in the partition table, I see a 7TB VMFS partition.

Our different versions of ESXi: 6.5, 6.7 and 8.0U2.

please check this

the solution was

Support helped me figure out what the problem was, had an inconsistency in the datastore's name as appearing in Vsphere

and what was on the storage. Found out the datastore I was increasing its size from the storage was not the one I was trying expanding

on VMware despite them having similar names. Any one having this problem please take a very close look at the LUN id's.
