How do I add a datastore via command line on esxi host ?

I have one ESX 5.5.  I will add 2 disks. I will make these disks raid1. How do I add these disks to ESXi host via the command line? I want to learn how to add via the command line. I won't do it from Gui.

can't create a RAID array via ESXi/vSphere. Has to already be a logical disk upon which to create the datastore. And VMware does not support software RAIDs. So, given the parameters you specified, can't be done via CLI. At least not from the same interface.

Add the two disks, and make a raid with your physical raidkontroller. Then you can make the datastore with command line tool vmkfstools.
