How to confirm that a VIB file is in use

Hello,

I am simply looking for the correct process to verify whether or not a VIB file is actually in use by the host. I can see that its installed but I'm not sure if that also means that its in use or if the VIB is simply there and available. I'm sure this is probably easy but I am fairly new to vmware and trying to work it out.

Thank you

I guess, there is no way. Some VIB files are installed from VMware image, some installed by other components such as NSX or third-party solutions and also if you are using custom images that provided by your hardware vendor, some VIB files are unused depending to your hardware because server hardware's vendors add drivers and offline bundles to cover all their hardware components and OEM devices.

You have to and make sure about VIB file according to your solutions and hardware or anything else that related to your infrastrcture.
