Odd issue here, more of an annoyance than really causing issues. I just did a vanilla install of ESX 4 onto a BL680 G5. I enabled root over ssh and restared sshd so I could logon and configure with putty. In the putty session, after I enter the root password, it takes about 50 seconds to complete the logon - every time.. The same server connecting with iLO, it's like normal. There isn't any other slowness once logged in, just that. Other ESX hosts on the same subnet (ESX 3.5) don't have the same problem. I've tried restarting sshd, rebooting the server. It has all the latest patches for ESX 4.0. Anyone have an idea what it's doing for all that time?
Thanks,
Randy
