Hi,
Where do you get information about the latest ransomware in the VMware environment? Is there a good source?
Thanks
Please find below some documents that will help you getting info about ransomeware:
https://core.vmware.com/ransomware
https://blogs.vmware.com/vsphere/2023/02/vsphere-security-proactive-and-continuous.html

Both links are interesting thanks.
I was thinking more of something where I see what's new around. A patch or security advisory must already be available on the VMware links.
Most of the time, the topic comes up somewhere, and from that point on, I want to know.
The link contains multiple blogs that you have to check which will give you more information. Like one the ransomware attacks recently in news descrived in the following links:
https://core.vmware.com/esxiargs-questions-answers#introduction
https://blogs.vmware.com/security/2023/02/83330.html
You can also enable alerts on email and whenever there is any advisory you will get a mail. please read the line:
You can sign up for email and RSS alerts when an advisory is published or significantly modified on our main VMSA page.

Hi,
maybe the following does better fulfill your needs.
Ransomware is just one specific concern, you probably want to keep on top of ALL VMware security advisories, and those can be found here https://www.vmware.com/security/advisories.html
On that page, I would 110% recommend you subscribe to the advisory notifications, you will then be immediately emailed as and when new vulnerabilities are announced!
