Nvidia MCP55 SATA/RAID controller, no mirror possible?

Is it possible to configure the NVidia MCP55 controller under ESX4i as a mirror?

In the bios it's possible, but ESX4i doesn't recognize the mirror and shows the mirror as 2 separate disks.

ideas???

The drivers for ESX(i) do not support software (also know as fake) RAID controllers like the MC55. If you need RAID then you would have to go with a hardware RAID card.

Do you have a system or PCI card working with VMDirectPath? Submit your specs to the Unofficial VMDirectPath HCL - http://www.vm-help.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=21.
