Hi,
I created a VM with Sco OpenServer 6 on EXSI 7.0 U2. the WM is working fine but I cannot assign more than 4GB or ram.
Is it a limitation under VmWare?
Thank you!
Just fell into this hole too - on 7.0u3c. Did a P2V move of my old SCO OpenServer 6 and now have this silly memory limitation. Looks like they figured that OpenServer 6 has the same memory limitation as OpenServer 5 whereas 6 will support 64GB. Has to be a way to edit this limit somehow?
Please specify wether this is just a stupid webinterface-issue or a real problem.
Can you set more than 4GB RAM in the vmx-file ?
Ulli
I finally was able to edit the vmx file and I now have 16GB assigned and running - thanks.

Did Vmware ever release a new update to fix up the 4G limit issue for Openserver 6 running on Esx 7.0
Had the exact same issue with esxi 7.0 U3c
Issue still exists
AFAIK this was a restriction of Openserver 6 itself.
I think it is more than this.
Openserver 6 can reach 64g ram through implementation of PAE memory extension.
in esx version 5 , access to more than 4G with openserver6 can be done .
in esxi 5 you can edit settings and change ram above 4G and save
Something changed in esx 7 to inhibit the edit of settings and try to set memory for openserver 6 greater than 4G.
