Snapshot problem locked

Hi,

I have a problem with snapshot on many VM.

I can't remove snapshot, i have this error: Unable to access file <unspecified filename> since it is locked"

I tried to do a new snapshot then delete all but same problem, all snapshot stay in the vm folder as you can the in my screenshot.

Same same with the VM switch off and same problem.

I have vmware ESXi 4.1 Essential build 260247.
Could you help me please?

How can i merge all snapshot into my default disk?

I could think of several solutions, however first I need to understand the cause of the issue. Therefore I would like you to provide some more info:

- how much free disk space do you have on the datastore

- what kind of a datastore is it (local, iSCSI, NAS, FC)

- please attach the latest vmware.log as well as the vmx and vmsd file

- do you work with linked clones

André

EDIT: Please attach a list of all files in the VM's folder with full names, sizes and time stamps.

The only unusual thing I see is the "000S302LOTU.nvram" file, however please don't touch it since it is used by the VM.

I'd suggest you take a look at your backup server. I'm almost sure it's the backup software which has some files in use and causes the issue.
