Update Path Selection Policy from Command Line

Hello. I'd like to 1) change the default policy for new datastores added from MRU to RR, and 2) also change a few existing one at a time to RR too.

Can anyone explain how to do this?

In my searches, I've found some info, but it doesn't say/explain how rdm's are affected, if at all. All I want to do is change the shared datastores PSP. Any help or guidance would be really appreciated.

Do you mean you want to set what the in-use PSP is for certain LUNs or set the default that all will be assigned?

For individual LUNs:

For changing the Default(s):

(Note the 'Note' and 'Warning' at the bottom of this article and apply accordingly)

There are some good PowerCLI references for batch application on other posts:

If a PSP is supported for use with that storage and what is running on it (e.g. MSCS has caveats kb.vmware.com/kb/1010041) then RDM or not, changing PSP should not cause issues.
