Ubuntu server is provisioned with 4 vCPUs. User complains that one or two cores periodically disappear when he monitors the VM with atop. esxtop shows significant %VMWAIT for this VM only but KB85393 indicates this is a normal, cosmetic issue on an idle VM. We are on 7.0.3 and the host is not heavily loaded. This is the only Linux VM on this host; the other hosts have Photon and SUSE VMs and are fine.
Is there anything I can do in either the VM or vCenter or both? Thanks
