missing path selection policies after installing powerpath /VE

after i installed powerpath /VE on a esxi host, I am missing all the policies.

any idea?

There are no PSPs with PowerPath VE. The storage frame handles the paths.

is a license needed to use the powerpath plugin?

From what I understand, If you have access to the download then you're already at a point where your license covers the software. Not sure what magic has to be done on the frame.

Your pic looks the same as mine. Here's an example LUN using PP/VE

is there any performance gain by going with the powerpath ve vs the MRU (vmware)?

MRU only uses one path, PP/VE uses as many as it can, does load balancing, etc.
