Horizon Windows Client customisation

Hello,

I'm working on a thin client setup for my university.

Everything is almost fine, I just would like to fine tune to minor issues

- local file access. I would like to enable it just for removable media like USB sticks and prevent users to gain access to the  C: drive. The client is configured that way, but nothing prohibits the user to change this setting back and poke around in the C drive of the thin client. I would like to prevent it.

- access to published apps: I would like to give users only access to desktops from the thin clients and don't allow them to access apps. Is this possible?

What OS is the thin client?

As we use GPO to apply a policy to the the thin client to hide C drive which then means it does not pass through to View desktop...and GPO can control the apps too...

Hello,

windows. "Hide these specified drives in My Computer" GPO should do the trick, thanks. Are you sure it's possible to hide published apps from the View Client via GPO?
