Hello Community,
I have a customer environment where we have very good network performance - you can copy files in network with over 580MB/sec.
But the BLAST performance is super bad. The performance tracker shows me an "Estimated Bandwidth" of 12Mbps (see screenshot) or less and the Horizon Client warns very often about bad connection.
Users are complaining that the connection has become worse since the switch from RDP to Blast.
What could be the reason for this - I hope someone has an idea?
No, we do not tunnel the connections:
One thing I noticed is that all the connections are TCP which I think is not recommended. Attaching the screenshot from my VM. You can also do some testing by changing the codec. A lot of useful info here - https://techzone.vmware.com/resource/vmware-blast-extreme-optimization-guide
I have never disabled UDP, so I don't know why this connection was with TCP.
But even with UDP the performance is poor.
QoS policy restricting Blast traffic?
what is the traffic flow?
UAG -> CS - > Client ?
Is there something in the path doing a packet inspection?
