Helle everybody,
i have got a Problem with windows 7 and SP1 using Internet Explorer 9.
When i connect my Windows 7 using VMWARE View the speed ist normal.
When i start IE9 everything is more than slow. I can't close it then.
What can i do?
When i use another VD - XP it works but not on Windows 7.
Using Windows 7 SP1 host and VM.
VM is running on ESX -> Agent 4.6
Excuse my bad english.
Greetings.
Welcome to the forums Mafin. Have you checked the resources of the VDI machine after opening IE9. Could be a case where IE9 is saturating one of the resources and simply slowing the machine down.
Thanks for your help and your Welcome
I have to compelete my first Posting.
The problem occurs when I am using VM-View over VPN where the connection is UMTS/HSPA.
When I connect the same way and use a Win XP machine, i don't have any problems.
Well i have to correct something.
I installed all Windows updates, on VD and View Client Computer. Now it works much better. But not as fast as on Win XP.
View Client = Win7 -> Where the Agent is installed / XP -> FAST
View Client = Win7 -> Where the Agent is installed / Win7 -> Not that fast.
What can i do to optimize the connection speed?
I have noticed this happening also on View 4.5 with W7 (with latest updates).
Sometimes when i run IE (non thinapped) cpu goes up to 100% and the only thing that works is shutting down the VDI client ungracefully and then restarting.
In thinapped IE version this is not happening.
I never tried the Thinapped version. Well okay, VMware has to correct something.
Or does anybody know a way how to fix it?
View 5.0 Fixed it.
