View Client PCoIP just closes

Hi,

I have recently set up and environment to test VMware View out, here is my set up:

Windows Small Business Server as domain controller
Windows Server 2008 R2 with vCenter and View Connection Server
Windows 7 with View Agent installed

All of these machines are virtual on a VMware ESX server, so far good. I have got it working one time, where I could use both RDP and PCoIP to connect to my desktop from an external source but after installing VMware Tools on the Windows 7 Desktop everything when messed up.

PCoIP stopped working, and I guess there is because hardware acceleration went broken after VMware Tools was installed, the button to change acceleration is grayed out so I can’t change anything there. Now Connection Server even says that the agent is unreachable, though I am able to ping the machine and the agent service is running.

Anyone know how to resolve this? And I have tried unistalling VMware Tools without success.

Thanks in advance

Thats right, installation of the vmware tools after the vmware agent was alread installed alwys breaks the agent. So always be sure if you do an update of vmware tool you need to reinstall the vmware agent again.
