"Install Failed" VMware Horizon Client, log file attached

Hi..

I'm trying to install Horizon Client 5.4 on a Windows 10 Home system. But unable to do so as it fails every time I try. I was able to get the app from Microsoft Store which has many limitations. I really need to install the full client so that I can printer redirection options.

I've attached the logs. Please advise.

Edit:

Is it possible for the AV program blocking Horizon installer?

Yes, it's likely the AV which protects the hosts file. I ran into this a few days ago myself.

What you can to do is to temporarily disable your AV for either the installation, or for manually adding the required entry to the hosts file

vdmInstUtil: 03/19/20 10:34:24 Searching for '127.0.0.1 view-localhost # view localhost server' in "C:\WINDOWS\system32\Drivers\etc\hosts"

Make sure that you add the whole string (in red) including the comment. Unrelated to this, ensure that the hosts file ends with a blank line.
