host returns esxupdate error codes: 30

Hi,

I'm trying to patch an ESXi host with my Array Multi-pathing software via VUM on VCSA 6.5

I'm getting this error message

The host returns esxupdate error codes: 30. Check the Update Manager log files and esxupdate log files for more details.

The Update Manger Error Code KB doesn't list this error

Has anyone come across it?

I'm having trouble getting Log Browser enable - once done I'll dig into the logs a bit more

Hi Mike,

Does the patch staging works fine?

can you upload the vum logs from VCSA? it will have the details on failure.

VCSA with VUM is a new feature in 6.5. So there wont much KBs or articles on it. I would recommend to open a ticket with VMware support for quicker resolution.
