I can't seem to find anywhere how to do this anymore. If I go to the depreciated flash client, its still there. For the moment the workaround has been to maintenance mode the hosts and then do the remediation against each separately.. Hardly fast when you have many to do..
Looks like it isn't an option in 6.7 U2
VMware vSphere Update Manager 6.7 Update 2 Release Notes
2 During remediation, Update Manager handles host/cluster settings as follows:
Its also missing in update 3 of 6.7 vSphere...
It would be good to know if this is something that is coming back or gone forever.
Did see that it was removed in 6.7 Update 1.

We have also removed some settings from being modified such as the ability for parallel host remediation and the ability to disable Quick Boot.
Still gone in 6.7 U3a
Found out that you can still enable them via the Flex Client 🙂
I also searched and searched and thought this can't be possible?! I have hundreds of hosts and can afford to patch 2, 4 or even 10 at the same time. Otherwise it just takes too long! Quick Boot is cool, but way too few models are supported (for example, Dell R630 is supported, but M630 not, hmmm?!).
VMware, bring that option back!! It's ok if sequential is the default (or if hosts are not in maintenance mode already), and I understand it for vSAN enviroments, but otherwise, HELLO?!
You can still use the Flash/Flex client and remediate with the parallel option. Not optimal, but better than just having to deal without (until Flash is completely dead)
I just noticed the same at a customers 6.7 environment, and enabled the option in the flash client. But even if i enable the option, when remediate from HTML5 they will not be done parallel, it must be remediate from flash.
And i searched in my vSphere 7.0 vCenter for a such option, but i found nothing... Seems to be gone...
This has returned as of vSphere 6.7 U3l/P04.
