Hi,
I'm confused between the two, aside from of course the version, the format is not the same. VCAP6 Design have 18 questions (3V0-622), and probably a scenario based where you will be asked to create a conceptual logical and physical design. Whereas the VCAP6.5 Design (3V0-624) is more of a multiple choice type of exam with 60 Questions. So what's the difference? I currently have VCAP 6 Deploy Certification and preparing for VCIX... which Design Exam should be taken, or it doesn't matter which?
Thanks.

They dropped the Visio-style design tool from the 6.5 exam, and added multiple-choice and matching questions - as per the "Format" section of these pages:
6.0 exam: VMware Certified Advanced Professional 6 – Data Center Virtualization Design Exam
6.5 exam: VMware Certified Advanced Professional 6.5 – Data Center Virtualization Design Exam
