VCAP Design 6.5

Hy everyone.

Anyone already did take VCAP 6.5-Design exam, and could share the experience here? Study preparation, materials, tips?

I'll take the exam next March, and if anyone can help me, I'll appreciate a lot. I'm studying using Hersey Cartwright's book (Data Center Design Cookbook) and Design Workshop 6.5 books and labs. Any suggestions?

Hey mate,

This webcast is worth watching - Prepare for your VCAP-DCV design exam with this webinar Registration, as well as reading about vSphere 6.5 - Mastering VMware vSphere 6.5 | PACKT Books .

VMware has a VCAP6-DCV Design simulator which was recommended by the instructor - VCAP Datacenter Design Simulation .

All in all, time is the main constraint, considering there are 60 questions and only 135 minutes to complete the exam.

Hi valteesjunior​,

I've tried it once and failed - scored 290 from 500.

My feeling it requires to focus more on the new features in vSphere 6.5 in addition to the design concepts like RCAC and AMPRS.

Time is crutial as some questions might take longer to read and analyse.
