CPU compatible doubt

Hello I have 3 ESX Servers in a cluster with HA & DRS working fine and with the CPU configuration below:

Server 1 & 2 (DELL PE 2950)

-

vendor_id : GenuineIntel

cpu family : 15

model : 6

model name : Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.00GHz

stepping : 4

cpuid level : 6

Server 3 (DELL PE 2850)

-

vendor_id : GenuineIntel

cpu family : 15

model : 4

model name : Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.20GHz

stepping : 1

cpuid level : 5

Now I am willing to procure another DELL PE 2950 but after reviewing the CPU configuration I am not sure if these CPU's will work with my actual environment, DELL now change its models to X, E and L (something) :

The one in bold is the one I choose but not sure if it will work or even though if any of them should work with my environment,

the 53xx and 54xx are NOT vmotion compatible.

The only way to make it work would be to use EVC. With EVC you must be running vCenter 2.5.0U2 and ESX 3.5.0U2 or above.

If 53xx and 54xx is not vmotion compatible then 51xx or 52xx will work with my environment?

Thanks

Hello Troy sorry for the late reply, I installed EVC as you told me to do so and it is telling me that I have incompatible hardware, see attached........ my existing envrionment is as follows............

These are my CPU info of my 3 ESX Boxes......

- D7591,Processor,80546K,3.2G,1M,Xeon Nocona,800,E0

- Processor,80555K,Xenon Dempsey,5050,LGA771,C1

- Processor,80555K,Xenon Dempsey,5050,LGA771,C1

I am in a hurry to buy a new box do you think that the CPU below will work with my environment?

*Dual Core Intel® Xeon®

X5260, 6MB Cache, 3.33GHz, 1333MHz FSB*

Thanks
