IBM x3850 Intel xeon Quad-core support

Hi Guys,

We are looking to replace our old IBM x3950 servers with 2 IBM x3850 servers each containing 4 intel xeon quad core processors running at 3GHZ and 32GB RAM. Both servers will run ESX 3.0.2. Can anyone tell me whether this configuration is supported by VMWare with ESX 3.0.2?

Any help would be much appreciated.

If I am reading the systems guide correctly they will only support dual cores....
