Link Aggregation with 3Com Baseline Switch 2948-SFP Plus

Hi,

I have configured link aggregation on ESX 3.5 U3 with 3Com 2948 switch, unfortunately I won't work. There are only 2 ways to to set link aggregation on 3Com 2948 switches, which are Manual and LACP. On its datasheet said that it supports IEEE 802.3ad Link Aggregation, automated (LACP) and manual aggregation but I am not sure the term manual aggregation equivalent to static LACP or not. Can any gurus guide me how to set link aggregation with this switch?

You need manual aggregation, then "IP hash" on the vSwitch connected to the aggregated ports.
