VMware Tools status shows OK after ESX upgrade

I just upgraded my ESX Server from 3.5 U3 (build 123630) to build 130756.

All the VMs shows Tool status OK even though they're at 123630. If I log into a VM and open up VMTools tray, the upgrade button is grayed out.

If I manually start a VMTools upgrade, it upgrades the tools to 130756.

How do you change the current build version of the tools in Virtual Center ??

Some of the upgrades dont have any change with VMware Tools. However, when you do a manual installation they will show the new build number.

It is ok to stay with the version of tools you have right now. Unless VC reportes that the tools are outdated.
