prmoting snap from EMC to ESX

I realized it could be the EMC question and i did open the question on their forum as well

I have created a snap of one my iscsi lun.

promoted the snap to a esx host. rescan iscsi luns. it shows the raw lun and presented to ESX host. But the problem is LUN is empty when I browse to it in VC

Is the original LUN that I have taken the snap of should it be removed from VC before promoting the snap?

Any ideas?

You need to use DisallowSnapshotLun = 0

had to use LVM.EnableResignature = 1

it changed the lun to unique
