visbu Problems 1.0.1: This operation is not supported

Hello

I want to use on ESX 3.0.2 build-61618 visbu Release 1.0.1 (with 0.9.1I have the same problem)

on the ESX we have 8 VMs (4 Windows2003, 4 SuSE Linux Enterprise Server)

these where migrated from an ESX 2.x last week

Only 1 vi-backup work on an Windows 2003 Server VM

on all other in the vi-backup log for the vm we the the following message

28/11/2007 14:48:21: Current working directory: /root

System libcrypto.so.0.9.7 library is older than our library (90701F < 90709F)

Creating snapshot

Error: This operation is not supported.

What ca I do ?

Are you using independent disks? If so, uncheck the box and try taking a snapshot.

This isn't a VISBU specific problem, if you try and take a snapshot of these VMs manually I suspect you'll get the same problem.

Have you upgraded the virtual hardware of the VMs to ESX3 format?

I have checked some VMs are ESX 2. Version, I upgrade this to ESX 3 Version

And the harddisk's not persistent

at this night I check the backup.log too and tell you the state

Hello

now I have unchecked the disc's independent use, and have done upgrade vmx-konfig from 2.x to 3.x and now vi-backup works great.
