wierd problem after re-registering VM in VC

I can't really explain it but i think the screenshot will tell it all

I can't delete it any idea?

Try unregistering the VM with vmware-cmd (vmware-cmd -s unregister pathtovmx) and re-register is using vmware-cmd (vmware-cmd -s register pathtovmxfile)

ah will try that, vm: swap not found still buging me removing and re-adding does not do the trick, checked no process is using the specific vm_files

According to the screenshot this VM is registered twice.

If that is correct unregister both!

Try doing this.

copy the vmx file to another location

copy the vmdk files.

rename the vmx file and try to re-register the VM, then simply modify the VM to point to hard disk
