Hi all,
We are using vRealize Automation ver 6.2.1 Build 6.2.1-2543390.
We've found an odd bug reconfiguring a VM. If I add one hd volume at a time, there is no problem. But if I try to add two volumes at the same time the reconfigure fails with the message "Reconfigure failed, waiting to retry".
On vRA "Infrastructure -> Monitoring -> Log" the error is: "Reconfigure machine failed: Machine: xxx, Error: WaitForTask Apply StorageDrsRecomendations_Task Enttity.... Invalid datastore path xxxx.vmdk".
On vCenter Console, the error is: "Invalid datastore path [Cluster......vmdk".
The same error happens using vCenter 5.5x or 6.x
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot,
D.
This was issue with SDRS placement done by vRA. We have found the issue and fix will be available in Next release.
Thanks

Can you please check the reservation once again and have you applied any storage policy ?
The reservation is ok and yes we have created Storage Policies.
This is the reservation:
You can see the Storage Policies applied on the Compute Resource in this screenshot:
Anyway, this problem was verified in three different platforms, my lab, my client's QA environment and my client's production environment.
Any ideas?

We ran into the same issue. It works when we add/change disks one by one. It fails when more than one disks added/edited.

Thanks for the info, Kumaran.
Which version, 7 or 7.0.1?
D.
Did we ever find out which version this had been fixed in?
I'm seeing the same issue with vRA 7.0.1
