Any other solution but the text widget?

Hi,
I'm creating a dashboard and would like to add some instructions for the user of the dashboard. I thought the text widget would be ideal for this, but it seems that I need to upload and link to text files to be able to do this. Is there no other solution to have a box displayed above a widget in which I can add some instructions?

Duh, found it. 
Seems that even though the configuration of the Widget seems to require either an URL or Text file. You can just leave them empty and then edit the widget directly on the dashboard to add text.
