I am trying to add a host to a vsan cluster running vcf 3.9.1
It goes through ok and manages to deploy the networking and the vsan disk groups but fails with the error below
It looks like something is trying to make an ssh connection to the vcenter server.
The host has been added successfully to the cluster and is in maintenance mode
Just wondering if anyone has seen this error
Thanks for that. ssh is enabled on the host but I will retry the task again to see if it works
Looks like this error means SDDC Manager is unable to ssh into the host which you are trying to add. Please enable SSH on the host and since you already provide the root creds when you try to add the host in the sddc manager, it should be able to ssh into the host. Also, make sure that the SSH runs with the host.
Hope this helps.

Let us know how it went and if there is any other screenshot if it fails again.
works out that the sddc manager had the incorrect password for the vcenter. I had to change the vcenter password to match what it was in sddc
Great ! glad that it worked!
