Fusion 3.0: Is there a way to increase the 128MB of video memory under Win XP?

We want to move all our VM's in the company from Parallels to Fusion 3.0. There is only one problem left: The layout team in the electronics department is working with Cadence Allegro under Parallels, Windows XP (they need OpenGL support). I have hoped that Fusion 3.0 with OpenGL support allows us to transfer these users to VMware, too. But it seems that we can not initiate this roll out, based on the fact that we are stucked at 128MB of Video RAM with the VMware driver. Is there really no possibility to increase the used amount of video RAM of the driver?

Try adjusting the svga.vramSize parameter in the virtual machine's vmx file.

It doesn't work. I put the following line into the vmx file when the virtual machine was shut down. svga.vramSize = "256000000". But in the application Allegro all appears like before. Also in the Windows XP settings of the graphic card is written 128Mb of Video memory.

Does it matter were i put this line? Are there other possibilities why it does not work?
