I'm trying to use the Race Technology software in VMWare Fusion. Most of it works fine, but there is a problem uploading data from a dash2pro to the mac using their Device Explorer software (v1.2.11) on a WinXP VM on a Macbook Pro. I've also seen the same issue on a Macbook running bootcamp.
This software very frequently (not always, but almost always) hangs during data transfer and when this happens the dash displays that it is no longer connected. I am able to upload configuration data to the dash without issues. Connecting to the same hardware with a Dell laptop running Windows 7 I have no issues. I think this uses a pretty simple serial-over-USB connection so would think that this should work OK?
