Unable to install Windows XP Home in MAC using VMware Fusion

Hi,

I'm new to MAC and got the VMware fusion.

I want to install my windows XP home edition using VMware Fusion but facing problem.

Initial insertion with the XP disk running well until I was asked to proceed by pressing F8 if I agree

But when I press at F8 nothing happens. Does VMWare fusion does not intercept the F8 key? or is it recognized differently?

Hope someone can guide me to install the OS software on Mac.

thanks

Disable Spaces in System Preferences. then use the FN F8.

Or if you don't want to disable spaces, on the VMWare menu bar, click VMWare Fusion > Preferences > Keyboard and Mouse > Untick "Enable Mac OS-X Shortcuts"

Still work outside the VM.

Just another alternative!
